I’m the founder of Holt Paint Company and have lived most of my life in South Carolina. As a father of three young children, I understand the value of a home that feels welcoming, well cared for, and built to last. That mindset carries over into every project we take on.

My career began in accounting, where I worked closely with building contractors and construction professionals. That experience gave me a strong understanding of how successful projects are planned, managed, and executed. Over time, my interest in the work moved beyond the numbers. I found myself drawn to the process of renovating homes, managing projects, and seeing ideas come to life.

That passion eventually led me to start Holt Paint Company.

Our goal is to provide homeowners with high-quality painting services they can trust. We believe great work starts with listening to our customers, communicating clearly throughout the process, and delivering finishes that not only look great on day one but hold up for years to come.

When I’m not working with clients or overseeing projects, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family or working on our small family farm. Life in the country keeps me grounded and reminds me daily of the importance of hard work, honesty, and taking pride in what you build.

Our Process
Initial Consultation
At Holt Paint Co. we go beyond simply colors and rooms. We'll ask questions about your goals for the project, activities and traffic in each space and long term expectations to provide a personalized solution for your painting or wallpaper needs.
Design & Approval
Once we understand the projects goal we'll provide options tailored to get there. Whether it be an easily cleanable paint, low VOC options for nurseries or a deck paint that's cool to the touch in the hot sun we'll work with you to create solutions.
Schedule and Begin Work
Once the scope of work is agreed upon and colors selected we'll schedule and perform the work. We take pride in updating clients throughout the process and keeping communication open. Whether you're in the room or across the country you will know where the job stands at the end of each working day.
Final Walkthrough
After work is complete we will clean up and dispose of all project materials. We will walk the job with the customer and take note of any requested changes, our goal is always 100% satisfied customers.
